Carriers of the Wind

Any idea where we can, fight and win and fear it all
Greetings from the end, in our nerves
We might lose, but we know the world loses more everyday
Our breath is its second to last
Shining bright for us to see, and hiding away for us to feel
Then moving slow for us to hear;
An insight of scent on its neck
A barrier of truth on its skin
Right towards the end we could be
Anything will do, can we be carriers of the wind
Any idea where we can fight and win and fear it all
Greetings from the end, in our nerves
We might lose, but we know the world loses more everyday
Our breath is its second to last
Shining bright for us to see, and hiding away for us to feel

Pt.1
The spellbound nights to remind each one of us;
That everyone feels the need to lie again
Images of the rope that could hang us high;
How can we climb without care and live again?
A hand full of flowers
Pt.2
When you were awake, stretched out in your bed in the dark, shutters drawn, your
thoughts would flow freely.
They would grow obscure when you got up and opened the curtains
The violence of daylight would efface the nocturnal clarity
In the daytime, people were barriers, dividing you up, preventing you from hearing
what you listened to at night: the voice of your brain.

Anyone can be anxious or cruel
They see the highlight of the sky in their eyes
It’s a moment held direct, direct through time
Like the drive through your city, it then reminds us why
When will be together and free?
Someone to call
When will our thoughts move free through the night?
Someone to hold
When will be together and free?
Someone to call
When will our thoughts move free through the night?
So little hope
Anyone can be anxious or cruel
They see the highlight of the sky in their eyes
It’s a moment held direct, direct through time
Like the drive through your city, it then reminds us why
There’s reasons we fall and reasons we know, that anything we do we’re lost
through it all

From Behind Our Wings
02:29

Finding yourself ready to move on was realistic, and with the first step forward
came a sudden retreat alongside a heavy rush of thoughts;
Thoughts to paralyze even the most levelheaded
Feeling the transition would prove once again, that we too have leaves that change
colors;
The moment those leaves fall, you would ask yourself:
Could an expression be carved properly?
Could a carving be expressed justly?
Questions as such remind me of the distant gaze Twiggs had upon the pasture she
ate from;
Her gaze was one that had questions
Questions that would never need rebuttal
Entering the field, my mind would always wander, dreaming through the sight that
it gathered
Proving once again I was ready to be, what’s underneath me
I was ready to be, what’s underneath me

Addicted to Sweating

High heels at the edge of my bedpost
Close the blinds make me feel like your animal
Take the rope tie me up, I’ll feel for you
Lost in your world through interest and obsession
Tell me more stories of sweat and desire
We wont leave we’ll stay till the morning
Anything I’d ask of you, you would do for me
Anything you’d ask of me, I would do for you
Everything I ask in the right way
Everything you ask in the right way

Waiting in the room below, attempting recipes from the book of self-destruction
Tasting the flavors that turned against themselves
Finding a low lit disaster in the back of your mind
Hiding vision from your eyes and thoughts from your ears
One last shout down the hallway in the best of ways
Layouts for the end, and layouts for the start

The Carpenter in Us All

You take the line, right from my heart and you call it the long road.
Distance at first, in the sign of the way, that you called it the long road.
He’s in the right, I’m in the wrong & he cares for everyone
She’s in the right, I’m in the wrong & she cares for everyone
They’re in the right, I’m in the wrong & they care for everyone
Finding a way to tell you, that I care for no one
You take the line, right from my heart and you call it the long road.
Distant at first in the sign of the way, that you called it the long road.
He’s in the right, I’m in the wrong & he cares for everyone
She’s in the right, I’m in the wrong & she cares for everyone
They’re in the right, I’m in the wrong & they care for everyone
Finding a way to tell you, that I care for no one
The look in your eyes, and the beating of your heart
You called it the long road
The look in your eyes, and the beating of your heart
You called it the long road
